Restriction on Debit Card Purchases at Walgreens Pharmacies and Wholesale Supermarkets Outside the State of Florida.
February 4, 2010
Due to an increase in fraud related transactions at Walgreens Pharmacies and wholesale supermarkets (Wal-Mart, Costco, BJ, Sam's Club, etc.) located outside the State of Florida, a restriction on all debit card transactions has been placed at these retail outlets. This means that no "Credit" transaction from a Dade County Federal Debit Card will be honored at these merchant's stores. Members may still use the Debit Card with their PIN. This does NOT pertain to purchases made at the affected locations in the State of Florida.
