MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION

Multi-Factor Authentication became mandatory on November 5, 2007.  Please enroll today for access to MyBranch Online banking.

Multi-Factor Authentication is an enhancement in security to our Online Banking sign-on procedures.

Dade County Federal Credit Union (DCFCU) is making improvements to the way you access your sensitive account information.  By adding this security, you get added peace of mind that you are on the authentic DCFCU website. “Multi-Factor Authentication” refers to a security phrase you choose and a series of questions and answers you select that no other user or website would know.

Here’s how you will upgrade and personalize your security access:

You'll be asked to choose three security questions that will be used to verify your identity. Only you will know the answers you’ve chosen. Choose questions whose answers are easy for you to remember. You should not print, store, save or share your selected challenge questions and answers with anyone.

These questions will be used along with certain account information to provide stronger protection if you ever forget or need to change your log on information.  We will also randomly ask for the answers to these security questions at certain times when you access your account details on dcfcu.org. This helps ensure no unauthorized persons will be able to access your accounts.

The enrollment process is easy and will take a minute or two.  After enrollment, when you log in, your security phrase will be displayed so you’ll know you’re on the authentic DCFCU website and that it’s safe to enter your Login PIN. To make your log in experience even easier, you can “register” your computer with us, so that the next time you log in from that computer, we will recognize you.
